Welcome to the School Counseling

Purpose

The Del Valle High School Counseling Program supports the school’s vision and mission by helping all students graduate with meaningful achievements that open multiple postsecondary pathways in college, career, or the military. Using the ASCA Student Standards as a foundation, counselors provide academic guidance, career exploration, and social-emotional support to ensure student success in a positive and safe environment. By working collaboratively with teachers and staff, the program promotes equity and removes barriers so students can graduate on time while exceeding state and national standards.
